Homewood Suites by Hilton Sarasota

Kathleen, the breakfast manager at Hilton Homewood Suites, was absolutely amazing. She greeted every guest like an old friend and kept the morning running smoother than fresh coffee. The food was fantastic, the area spotless, and her positive energy set the tone for the whole day. It’s rare to meet someone who clearly cares about people, not just the job. Hilton is lucky to have her, she made my stay feel like home.

PERFECT location for the family that i had visiting from Minnesota. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms well appointed. The pool was closed while they were there, apparently a baby went in wearing a poopoo diaper and they had to close it for 72 hours per the Health Department....YIKES

We stayed at this Homewood Suites for 6 nites while attending a bridge tournament a couple miles away at the Robards Center. What a terrific experience we had. Usually I get homesick when I stay in a hotel for several nites, but I felt right at home in both our nice room and each morning at breakfast. Kathleen is the heart and soul of the property. She is the kitchen host extraordinaire! What positive living energy she has. A bountiful, delicious and thoughtful spread Kathleen puts out. The best I’ve ever experienced. Boy, does she buzz around keeping everything filled and kept tidy. AND she also makes you feel good. Always a nice hello and quick fun chat. When it gets very busy with many patrons, I couldn’t help but notice the other hotel employees jump in and help out like Tara and even Willie ( who I think does maintenance) One very busy morning, I spotted Willie reach down and picked up a little penny sized scrap of paper in the breakfast area. Impressive. Anyway, I want this glowing review to be a heartfelt thanks for a job well done. The front desk team was also very welcoming and dedicated. Margo

DECEMBER 2025 STAY: I stayed here previously and was glad they were able to accommodate my reservation again. Everyone truly did their best to make me feel at home during my three-week stay. I want to give special recognition to Blanca (General Manager), Claudia and Brian at the front desk, and Kathleen in hospitality/breakfast service. Each of them was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring. I regret not getting the housekeeper’s name—she is the unsung hero who made it possible for me to rest and recharge after long workdays. I loved the coffee bar, which is available all day, and the Christmas decorations were simply festive and warm, adding a comforting touch to the atmosphere. I highly recommend taking the time to get to know the staff and letting them know how they can help make your stay comfortable; they truly go above and beyond. OCTOBER & NOVEMBER 2025 STAY: I stayed for five weeks and overall had a great experience. There were a few mishaps during my stay, but each one was handled promptly and resolved to my satisfaction by the appropriate staff. Front desk team members Eileen, Victor, and Omar were consistently attentive and helpful. Kathleen from the breakfast staff kept everything well-stocked (coffee, pastries, meats, and more) and the breakfast area was always clean and pleasantly festive. The Halloween pumpkin-carving contest and seasonal décor added a fun, welcoming atmosphere throughout the stay. The maintenance team was friendly, responsive, and made sure everything was in good working order. The Mediterranean-style architecture added to the property’s visual appeal, and having a full kitchen in the room was a major convenience, especially with Publix and other shopping options right across the street. I’m definitely planning to book here again on my next stay.

Great stay! The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with a convenient kitchen setup. Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, and the hotel felt quiet and well maintained. Would definitely stay again and recommend it.

Customer service here is snatching , the home on the name is pretty accurate. The amenities are ok , and the distance from the city main area is good too. My tip is to visit. , is nice to interact with people than make you feel welcome .Thank you homewood suites !

We had a one bedroom suite & it exceeded our expectations. We're used to staying at resorts & so visiting this hotel was a surprisingly comparable stay. The check in process was easy, everything was clean. The walk to the room from the few entry doors is a bit inconvenient but it is just how the building was built. The hallways smelled nice & sanitary. Staff was quick to respond on text. We loved the personalized message on the TVs. Breakfast was SUPERB! The options were full of variety & taste. The breakfast staff member (I cannot remember her name but she has quadruplet children) was phenomenal. Incredibly friendly, hospitable and provided some awesome tips for the area! We loved the price ($170 w/ taxes) for the night being that we were only a 15 minute drive from Lido Key Beach & shopping area. Room was clean & no complaints whatsoever. We traveled with two littles & it was a convenient size for us all (including our playpens). We have already decided we will make this our place to stay whenever we choose to take mini staycations in this area!
